JUJU's DINO DASH
On June 3rd, 2024, USW Local 979 Member Brother Jared Wood lost his son Julian Myles Wood (3 yrs old) to an unprovoked act of violence.
Julian's parents organized this 5K to honor his memory, celebrate his life, and give back in his name.
Please join USW Local 979 in supporting the Wood Family by participating or donating to this event.
All proceeds support scholarships for students and fund initiatives that give back to the youth in our community!

Cuyahoga County Veterans Commission Meeting at the Union Hall
Representatives from the Cuyahoga County Veterans Service
Commission and the VA will be at the Union Hall on Wednesday February 5th at 9am.
Veterans are encouraged to attend this informative presentation on the various benefits that are available not only through the Veterans Administration, but the State of Ohio, and from the County. The Veterans Service Officers will help you submit VA claims, and answer any questions you may have about benefits and programs available to you.
